Since Michael and I took over the house from my parents, a lot has happened. It was rebuilt, renovated, and extended. But one thing has remained: the smell of fresh bread at breakfast, the hospitality, and the door that is always open. That's how it is, I suppose, when you do something with deep conviction.

Conversion to a small mountain hotel with a restaurant and sun terrace.

Renovation of the „Berglick“ house into holiday apartments

Conversion to apartments.

Conversion to a bed and breakfast with comfort rooms.

Initial renovation work and switch to „Farm Holidays“ tourism.

Dear Mr Bartels, in response to your enquiry of 5 May 1959, I am pleased to inform you that you and the persons you have specified are welcome to spend your holiday with me. Board is approximately 42 schillings, as almost everywhere there is running water in the rooms. Upon request, you may also have breakfast with me. We hope that you will enjoy your stay with us.
